Alt Blk Era - Our World Tour, Nottingham, 30th May 2026
With all that in mind, let me talk about Alt Blk Era's sold out Nottingham show at Rescue Rooms.
First, I want to talk about Luna and the Lime Slices, a five piece rock band from Nottingham. They started their set at 6:50pm, which was 20 minutes after the doors had opened. I unfortunately missed part of their first song due to coming back from getting merch. However, that didn't stop me from being amazed by their set. Despite only having a seven song set list, Luna and the Lime Slices were introduced to an already full room. Their set was filled with raw emotions, pure energy and that amazing rock sound. Their stage presence was something to be remembered by, and it definitely showed in their set. Luna and the Lime Slices definitely made their set feel almost intimate, despite the room being packed. Luna and the Lime Slices made their way through their set as they let the emotions take its course, having flashlights making the room feel magical like entering a fairytale and making the set even more intimate. Alongside that, a song was dedicated to Sofia's dad, bassist of the band. With a sold out room, Luna and the Lime Slices made themselves known in a sold out, 450 capacity Rescue Rooms. I really enjoyed their set as they had the upbeat rock energy whilst also having more of an emotional, intimate feeling to their set, and I think it worked perfectly, especially since they opened up for Alt Blk Era.
Again, I personally loved Luna and the Lime Slices and they were a great addition to the tour, since Luna and the Lime Slices were only opening on the last day of the Our World tour. Especially because they were playing for a sold out room and opening up for Alt Blk Era in their home town of Nottingham. They brought something that made the
Nottingham crowd keep watching in awe. It was amazing. They finished their set at approximately 7:20pm, and they also had their merch in the Red Room. Down below, I have provided the setlist for Luna and the Lime Slices.
Luna and the Lime Slices Setlist
- Sober
- Pangea
- Mindless
- Breathing
- B & W
- Less They Hear
- Caught Up
Next I want to talk about Saint Agnes, London's own alternative metal band who made their appearance on the stage at 7:40pm. They brought the attitude and the heavy riffs and hard hitting beats. They started their set with Set Them Out, a distorted and hard hitting song from their new album Your God Fearing Days Are About to Begin, which was released on May 29th. Saint Agnes brought something that I feel like made people want more. The sheer drive, energy, the anger, it was something that helped to end the tour in Nottingham. Despite opening for Alt Blk Era on their London show as well as Nottingham, Saint Agnes made the crowd move in a way that was helping set up for Alt Blk Era's set. Despite the fall Kitty had towards the start of Get Them Out, she recovered quickly, and carried on with the set like the fall was no big deal.
Saint Agnes really did make the energy more known, especially with the headbanging and running as the crowd was feeling the show and getting more energized for Alt Blk Era.
With their hard hitting sound, Saint Agnes made it known that they were there for a few things, but a riot, a good time. The angst, the music was something that I felt like the crowd wanted more of. With Saint Agnes, their music felt intense in the best way. Saint Agnes really did make a statement with their music and seemed theatrical in the best way as they caused havoc on the stage, and everyone who was in attendance seemed to love every single part of the set, and it only went up from there. Saint Agnes finished their set at 8:10pm and like Luna and the Lime Slices, their merch was also in the Red Room.
Like Luna and the Lime Slices, I wanted to provide the setlist of Saint Agnes, and I've provided it down below.
Saint Agnes Setlist

- Bloodsuckers
- The Ghost
- Good Boy
- The Beast
Finally, I want to talk about Alt Blk Era, a sister fronted, MOBO winner, genre bending band, who brought their all. The energy, the heaviness, the emotions wrapped all in one, getting the crowd jumping, running, moving, screaming and crying.
As they ended their tour in their hometown Nottingham at Rescue Rooms. As they brought the raw emotions and pure energy to their final show of the Our World tour, Alt Blk Era made the crowd look at them in awe as with each song, the movement and energy pulsed through the room. They took to the stage at 8:30pm, starting with Our World, the first song on the new EP, finding a way to make the song theatrical as possible, even having a moment to sit in the crowd and sing. They took that moment to really take in the fact that they were playing in a sold out show in their home town. Alt Blk Era never missed a beat as they decided to play My Drummer's Girlfriend, the fourth song in the Rave Immortal album and where Chaya joined Alex in playing the guitar. The crowd was definitely feeling the mood as they gave Nyrobi, Chaya, Sam and Alex the love and appreciation they fully deserve.
Getting emotional as Come On Outside or Straight to Heart, but being able to bring the mood back up with songs like Upstairs Neighbours, Okay (Cyber Racing) or Run Rabbit was an emotional twist that made me forget that I had ever cried in the first place. With the crowd fully immersed in the last show of the Our World tour, Alt Blk Era made sure that everyone near Goldsmith Street heard the noise, the chaos that was the Alt Blk Era gig.
Either way, their Our World England tour is what it's all about. With ten openers across the six tour dates across England, Alt Blk Era sold out Manchester and Nottingham, whilst having low tickets for London, Leeds, Glasgow and Bristol, they made their mark, growing bigger and gaining more fans on the frequent. Their Our World tour was something to be witnessed, and Nottingham was truly something. I am forever proud of them. I saw them opening up for Delilah Bon in 2022 at The Bodega, and now I'm witnessing them headlining and selling out not only in their hometown, but also in another city, as well as having low ticket warnings. With most of the tour having low ticket warnings whilst Manchester and Nottingham sold out, the Our World tour was something that made it special. With ten openers across the six tour dates, Alt Blk Era and the Our World tour was something that to be talked about. With this being their second biggest sold out show as they had sold out their Rave Immortal show just the year before at The Saltbox. From opening up for Delilah Bon and False Heads in 2022, to headlining and selling out three of their four headlining shows, to playing Download, Splendour, 2000 Trees, many more festivals and then also opening up for Pendulum on their UK and Europe tour, Alt Blk Era should be on everyone's radar as they're up for big things in the future. I see them headlining and selling out the main room of Rock City. In the wise words of Sam; "If we skip selling out the main room of Rock City and skip straight to Motorpoint, I'm going to riot."
Alt Blk Era made their mark in the music scene in Nottingham, and they definitely should be a band that everyone should be looking out for. Alt Blk Era finished their set about 9:20pm, and had their merch in the main bar of Rescue Rooms.
