Thankmas 2026

Popular YouTuber Seán McLoughlin, better known by his online name JackSepticEye, has started Thankmas for the 2026 season. This time it's bigger, and started earlier. But why is that? That is the main question. Why has Jack started Thankmas now in July? Well, that's because he's raising money for the Make-A-Wish foundation. For anyone that doesn't know, and is unfamiliar with Make-A-Wish, Make-A-Wish is designed for helping children who are battling life threatening illnesses. Through Make-A-Wish, these children are able to fulfil something they have dreamed of doing. This could be meeting their favourite musician, going to a concert, sitting front row at a sports game to support their favourite sports team, going abroad, going to Disneyland. Something that they aren't able to do.

So, why has Jack decided to start Thankmas now instead of doing a big livestream in December? Whilst Jack is scheduling a livestream for December, like how he has done in previous years for Thankmas, he's started now due to it being a bigger thing. Seán's plan for Thankmas this year is to grant a total of 300 wishes, which is already amazing in its own way. However, it's this catch that's on the bigger side of the wish granting. For 1 wish to be granted, a total of $1,000,000 is to be raised. So, in order for Jack to grant all 300 wishes, a total of $300,000,000 is to be raised. So this is the main reason why Thankmas has started now. Starting it now guarantees Jack to not only raise all $300,000,000 for Make-A-Wish, but it also guarantees Jack to be able to grant all 300 wishes.

So, how as a community, can we help for Thankmas this year? Well, the main thing is through donations. This is the main way as it helps Jack to be able to raise the money for granting wishes. It is also the quickest way to help because it allowed Jack to hit the goals too. But do not fret, there are alternatives to donating and in general, helping out with Thankmas this year. One of the other quickest and most effective ways you can help with Thankmas this year, and also help to provide a sense of money flow to Jack's Tiltify page, is by sharing the link and talking about it. Sharing the link to your stories on social media, putting it in the bio of your social media, or in general, sharing the link to a form of social media is a great way to get that out there as the more people that see it, the more people are able to donate. It is also the same if you talk about it. Simply talking about it drives people to either your link, or even Jack's link and this, in turn, has people either sharing the link or donating. Making videos and writing about Thankmas is a great way to share Thankmas and who we are donating to allows you to share that to a wider audience. Being creative helps too because you're able to share your writing, your drawings, paintings. your music, your makeup, your short films. Doing any of that whilst being able to help spread the Thankmas link is a good way to promote Thankmas, but also just being able to do good by having people donate too. The final thing you can also do is join Jack's community and make your own Tiltify page.

This year for Thankmas, not only have I made my own Tiltify page, I am also planning to make videos, livestream and also share my creativity through makeup and writing as I want to be able to share blog posts and also short stories. It also allows me to help contribute to something as well. Me joining Jack's community on Tiltify and helping contribute in general, allows me to help raise money for Make-A-Wish once again and in general, allows me to give back.

So, if you got this far, thank you for reading. I will provide some links, not only to Make-A-Wish's page so you can read more on what they do, but I will also provide both Jack's tiltify page as well as my own so you can help to donate. Again, sharing and just talking about it also goes a long way.
